Alisha Diphda

Now here’s an unusually controversial character.   Alisha Diphda from Tales of Zestiria.  I was playing through Zestiria right before Berseria came out, and finished it immediately after finishing it.  If you were to ask me, I’d say the game was fun but bad for a lot of reasons.  Miss Diphda here caused quite a stir in Japan after abruptly leaving in the game only to show up for a good fight or two before abruptly leaving again.  She only shows up again in a DLC scenario.  It was not only jarring to watch as a player, but all my roommates, who watched me play found it pretty upsetting as well how poorly she’s handled.  We all agreed that having a party that consisted of Sorey, Rose, the Seraph, as well as Sergei and Alisha would have been best.  Zestiria the X for how off the rails its been (all pacing issues aside) is trying to stay far and away from the source material, and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Alisha felt a bit slow, but she was an enjoyable character to play.
